The three day seminar will take place in Brasov, Romania, from October 26-28, 2011. It is jointly convened by the Accountability and Monitoring in Health and the International Palliative Care initiatives of the Open Society’s Public Health Program. The seminar seeks to further the transformation potential of our partners’ advocacy strategies by exploring how applied budget work can compel States’ to more effectively fulfill their obligations regarding access to humane models of care, making alternative policies visible and providing convincing evidence of an attainable, improved standard of palliative care.
